Specifics and Musicals – May 26, 2014

Specifics and Musicals

This week flew, and so did p-day! The APs came up because they are putting together a mission cd and wanted a few of the songs that I’ve arranged on it. And we did one combined one where I came up with the music and “hook” and then one of the elders wrote a rap to go with it. It’s about Joseph Smith. I think they should call the CD “KWM Music and the Spoken Word.” But we’ll see 🙂 It should be done at the end of the transfer. So that’s why this letter is going to be short…
We are trying to help our family (Rosalba, Silvestre, and kids) to progress, but his brother passed away about a week and a half ago and it has been really hard to contact them because they’ve been involved with family stuff. So please keep them in your prayers!
We had a really good week, but when it came time for church, we tried EVERYONE we could think of, and no one was going to be able to come. We didn’t know what to do! So we said a prayer on Saturday asking Heavenly Father to help us out because we had done everything we could to get someone to church. We told him we didn’t know what else to do, but if he would just send some random person to church that could become a new investigator, we would be extremely grateful. Weeeeeell, the next day in Sacrament Meeting, as we were sitting there getting ready to start, in walks a family that only comes every few months…with a friend! We taught her after sacrament meeting and she became a new investigator! PRAYER ANSWERED! Remember, the lord answers our specific prayers! Have a great week!
Hakuna Matata,
Hermana McKay
